Through it all, writing has been the one
constant in Patricia's life. She has enjoyed
serving in public education in the classroom
and in administration; as head of purchasing
for a custom woodworking firm; and forty-
five years as a mom.

The conciseness of poetry lent itself to her
busy schedule while a young, working
mother. Later on, articles and literary
contests offered by her professional
association provided more outlets for
writing.

Patricia holds her Lifetime Certified
Purchasing Manager accreditation from the
Institute of Supply Management. She is a
member of the Arizona Authors Association
and the East Valley Writers Workshop in
Mesa, Arizona, as well as a volunteer for the
Mesa Public Library.

Currently, Patricia is a freelance writer for
newspapers and magazines, and has a
young adult mystery novel in progress.
